IS BODYTALK LIKE A MASSAGE?

A BodyTalk session is done with the client laying on a massage table, fully clothed.  The practitioner communicates with your innate wisdom by using a simple neuromuscular feedback technique which utilizes the client's arm or hand.  Using a very extensive Protocol, The practitioner finds the areas that are out of balance, then taps on the client's head to stimulate the brain to begin the re-linking process.  The heart is then tapped gently to store this new balance and communicate it to the rest of the body.

WHAT KIND OF RESULTS CAN I EXPECT?

Most clients feel very relaxed after a session and some fall asleep during a session.  Your results will vary depending on the issues you want to address.  Some results are immediate, and others are apparent over a period of time.

HOW MANY SESSIONS WILL I NEED? 

A typical response is usually 5 - 7 sessions, but your innate wisdom will indicate how many sessions are needed and how much time is needed in between sessions for processing the shifts.  The practitioner will ask your body each time.

SHOULD I DO BODYTALK INSTEAD OF SEEING MY DOCTOR? 

BodyTalk is not an either/or decision. BodyTalk is a complementary system of health care.  It blends very well with all medical treatments.  It can help your body heal from negative side effects of medications and facilitate ease with surgical procedures and rehabilitation programs.  It addresses the entire bodymind complex, so will benefit the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of your whole being.

MY BODY FEELS GREAT BUT MY LIFE IS FILLED WITH CONFLICT, CAN BODYTALK HELP WITH THAT?

BodyTalk is a holistic healing system that allows the body to take the practitioner to exactly what is needed in the moment.  It works very well with emotional issues to clear the energy charge around the event, person, situation or memory, resulting in clearer communication within the entire bodymind.

HOW LONG DOES A SESSION LAST? 

A session usually lasts 45 minutes to one hour. The initial session may last one hour and 15 minutes as you will fill out an intake form and discuss your healing goals with the practitioner.

CAN BODYTALK HELP MY DOG WHO HAS A STOMACH PROBLEM?

BodyTalk works well with all of our animal companions.  I have completed the BodyTalk for Animals course and enjoy working with our animal friends.  I use the owner as a surrogate to communicate with your animal companion.  The aniamals respond very quickly to BodyTalk and give us many signals to let us know they are done as well as communicating through the surrogate that the session is complete.

DO I HAVE TO BE A HEALTH PROFESSIONAL TO LEARN TO DO BODYTALK?

Anyone can learn to do BodyTalk!  It is a health care system so it can be taught to anyone who wishes to improve their own health and well being as well a that of family and friends. You may attend a module one and module two course, and when completed, can begin to practice with family and friends.  Fabulous shifts and balancing can happen at this level!  You may further your studies and become a professional practitioner by joining the International BodyTalk Association and taking the certification exam.  Belonging to this international matrix definitely boosts the effectiveness of your sessions.
